My husband and I invested in the best binoculars we could afford. Our two-year-old grandson always wanted to play with them, but he is not ready to take care of them. I bought the toy binoculars so he would have a pair to take on a family trip to Montana. I gave them to him before we left home, in Maryland. He put them on, and announced that he could see Montana. He loved them so much, he took them to bed.

The binoculars look and feel like real ones. They enlarge an image 250%. They have a textured grip, and best of all, a break-away strap to prevent choking. This pair has been dropped, banged against hard surfaces, and worn in the bath tub. For eleven days, they have been subject to intense use and they have survived. A pretty-smart little boy thought they were so special, he didn’t even ask for the real ones.

I see that the age range on these is 36 months to 8 years. I think an older kid (older than 7) might be disappointed with these, but my 36-month-old is in love with them. I got them for her after she played (a LOT) with a real pair, and seemed to enjoy trying to find things with them outside.

They’re a solid pair of preschool binoculars. We have a kid-tough camera too, and it’s also pretty indestructible. This is not going to be the best pair of binoculars that you ever get your kid, but they do work, and they’re adjustable-width, adjustable-focus. Only one color combination (unlike the camera, which seems to come in boy or girl colors), but that wasn’t a concern for us. They serve their purpose well.

These were a big hit for my 4 yr old grandson. We go on adventure walks through the neighborhood, and he usually wants to bring them, to check out things he can’t otherwise see, He even enjoys looking through the “wrong” end for a different perspective of the world. Great way to look for bugs or birds hiding in trees, or to see leaves up close on tall trees.

We LOVE this product at my house. My 16 month old likes to scoop all of her bath toys up with the net. As a mom, I love that there are no holes for water to get into it which will not cause mold. It’s easy to clean. I also love that when bath time is over I can literally scoop all of her bath toys up with the net. We’ve had it for about 2 months and so far so good.

Fun toy, September 28, 2011

Great toy for motor skills and hand-eye coordination. My little one loves it, but instead of scooping, he likes to pick up the bugs and put them inside the net. So just beware that your little one may use it differently than intended, which is fine. The only complain I have is the small width of the net as well as overall small size. My little one likes to scoop all the bugs in and the net is a bit small to hold all three bugs without the last one spilling out.

I have had this toy for 4 months now and still like new. It is my 16 month olds favorite bath toy. It prompted her to learn the word bug. She even loves playing with it out of the bath. The colors are great.

Love it!, April 22, 2011

This review is from: Boon Lawn Countertop Drying Rack, Spring Green/White (Baby Product)

I read many reviews before purchasing this. I ended up going with the “lawn” as apposed to the “grass” simply because of size. My current munchkin drying rack was always full, and others saying the “grass” was too small. I think this is the perfect size with plenty of room to fit parts to my pump, pump storage bottles, regular feeding bottles and all the parts drying at once. It looks fantastic on my counter, important to me since it will be a permanent fixture for a long time, and even holds Dr. Brown’s glass bottles, no problem.I absolutely LOVE this product!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I think nearly is a bit much for a drying rack…definitely a splurge….but I do love it and would buy again. Once I placed my order, I could hardly wait to get it. Even though I choose my 2 day shipping with my Amazon Prime membership, it came overnight Fed Ex express…an added bonus.

Best bottle drying rack, August 21, 2011

This review is from: Boon Lawn Countertop Drying Rack, Spring Green/White (Baby Product)

I really like this drying rack. It is not tall and awkward like so many others. I like being able to put it in the dishwasher and I don’t mind how it looks ALWAYS out on my counter! I have had several compliments on it. The only thing I might change is making it larger, but I know many folks don’t have the counter space. I would recommend this item.

This drying rack is composed of 2 pieces. There is a plastic white try used to catch the water and also a 10.5 inches x 13 inches mesh of hard plastic blades which look like grass. The blades are very rigid and can hold in place almost any item. Currently, we are using this drying rack to dry the following: 4 glass Lifefactory 4 ox baby bottles, 2 Dr. Brown pacifiers, 2 Madella bottles used for the pump along with all the various caps and nipples. Everything fits! We have the glass Lifefactory 9 oz bottles and the Boon Lawn will hold them straight up too.
