My kids have more stuffed animals than toys r us and I didnt have anywhere to put them – on the same note I was looking for a bean bag chair for the playroom – both problems solved with this. I purchased 2 of the blue ones (2 kids) and they are the best. I have had spills on them – just take the animals out and throw it in the washer on gentle – comes out great. I have had freinds come over and fall in love with them and ask where they can get them – and now they are as happy as me. Very durable (my kids are rough). Kudos to the genius who came up with this idea…..

Perfect solution for renters, since you don’t have to drill holes in the walls or ceiling to hang storage for the stuffed toys. It does takes up some floor space, but much less than we expected. We placed the Bag between a pair of twin beds and it fits comfortably. Each mesh area has its own two-way zippered opening. The interior is not divided; it is one large space. More than 1 person can help with cleaning up without bumping into each other. All of the materials used are extremely soft and cozy.

Excellent for taming the stuffed toys (or stuffies, as we call them)!

Awesome and fun, September 21, 2011

Well worth the price. Told my children that this is where their stuffed animals would rest and be happy. It has become a great place for them to lounge with their friends.

I bought this small Cookie Monster for my grandson as he has other small Sesame Street characters. He loves his Cookie Monster!

It is small enough for small hands to grasp and hang onto without having to drag it around. Very compact and fit perfectly under his arm. While Cookie Monster is small, he is very durable as he gets a work out from my grandson during the day but under his arm when he is asleep.

Very nice little toy for a toddler.

Cookie is the man and everyone should know it!, April 18, 2012

Cookie is excited to be home after his release from the “facility.” He was my study companion for the PE last year and I passed the first time thanks to his kind words, rude comments, and crude gestures. Our new bookkeeper thinks he’s adorable and brought “us” a cupcake for passing but I know it’s really for him and not me. Before the exam at Oh Dark Thirty I parked downtown near the bum park and loaned him my backup calculator and spare mechanical pencils “Blackhawk Down” style and left him alone to guard my hubcapless ’92 Subaru 4WD wagon.

Me: Gordy’s gone, mang. I’ll be inside. Good luck. (tears well)

Cookie: (silent nod)

We both emerged unscathed with letters behind our names.

Cookie goes to work with me nearly every day and keeps me motivated while staring blankly at my five year old laptop and shooting rubber bands over the cube wall. He attends three hour long meetings as my representative and takes notes dutifully while contributing brilliant commentary not seen since the last crop of phenoms in `05. His knowledge, skills, and abilities and cornflower blue power tie set the standard for employee performance.

Together, Cookie and I enjoy getting lost on our hammered KLRs, cowgirls, long walks on the beach, manual labor, sunsets, watching yoga pants on the patio, and listening to the great philosophers of our time including Mr. T, the Dropkicks, Tristan Prettyman, and Chris Whitley.

In summary, Cookie is the manly man’s manly man of action and there’s nobody else I’d rather be in guts with, not even my brother from another mother Matt with Eight Fingers(tm) and his six foot tall blonde volleyball player girlfriend. Cookie is such an old soul he never even has to speak, he just knows what I’m thinking. We speak each other’s unspoken language… fluently.

Keeps my little guy entertained during car rides!, December 5, 2011

We keep this attached via links to the “oh crap” handle in our mini van (not sure what the handle in the ceiling is actually called, but that’s what my husband yells out if he needs to use it!). We then bring it around for our almost 5 month old to play with during the car rides. The wings have crinkly material in them and I can hear that and the little rattles going until he falls asleep. He seems to really like it! I would recommend this toy and would buy again if given the opportunity.

Inexpensive Sippy Cups, August 7, 2008

I found these sippy cups and they have served us well. When my children were infants we used the Gerber sippy cups which worked well but were really expensive. As my children got older but still not old enough to use a cup without spilling the contents, I switched to these.

They last with repeated use for several months then ours eventually develop a crack in them from my boys throwing them on the floor. I do hand wash mine even though they state top-rack dishwasher safe and I believe that helps them last a little longer. They will tend to leak a little if turned upside down and the tops will pop off occasionally. The valve-free design allows for a little leakage but also makes for much easier cleaning. My sons are at the age where we are transitioning them to regular cups and these are perfect for that in-between stage.

These are also labeled plastic type 5 which is polypropylene which is considered safe and does not leach BPA (bisphenol-A) into foods and beverages like some plastics can. That makes me feel better and sets my mind at ease about using these with my children.

These are cheap enough where I can keep extras in my car and diaper bag in case I need them on the run. The 7-oz size is perfect for smaller children and the 10-oz size is perfect for toddlers.

I started my daughter on a sippy cup of water at 6 months because she was always reaching for my glass of water. Other sippy cups were too hard to suck out of. When I took out valves, they just leaked. My daughter loves these cups. They are cheap, don’t leak, and wash up in the dishwasher. She is now 11 months and still uses them. A must have for all new moms!

We love these cups. I’ve tried every type of sippy cup and these are our favorite because they’re cheap and simple. However, my son tends to chew on the lid of sippy cups so I have to replace them often. I wish they sold replacement lids.

Unlike another sunshade product that I purchased, the suction cups on this one work okay — they still come loose occasionally, but not very often. Since the sunshade rollers have an adjustable length lock, it removes tension from the suction cups — which helps the suction cups stick longer.

Even better than suction cups, the shade rollers have small clips that can be hung over the top edge of the window, which provide a more secure mount than the top suction cups.

If the over-the-window-edge clips are used and the bottom of the shade is left loose, instead of anchored to the window with a suction cup, the window can be rolled down to within about an inch of the windowsill without having to dismount the shade.

As mentioned by another reviewer, the sunshade does not cover the entire side window — so it may be only partially effective at times depending on the angle of the sun. However, all the side window sunshades that I have seen are this size (plus or minus an inch) regardless of brand. Since there is no “standard size” side window, the manufacturers have probably chosen a size that will fit most cars.

While sunshades are helpful, they are not a perfect solution to protecting young children from the sun in cars. Parents still need to be vigilant.

I always thought these things were so goofy looking and silly. Until I needed one! We needed one when our son outgrew his infant carrier and no longer had that convenient little sun canopy. We keep one in each car and they really are lifesavers when the sun is going down and it hits your baby/kid right in the face. Having these is especially helpful in a smaller car &/or a car without tinted windows. I also LOVE having plastic hooks at the top of the shade rather than suction cups, & the velcro at the bottom is also very helpful to keep those suction cups on tight.

We were given these as a gift. They are pretty small and the “First Years” logo on the outside is huge. There are probably better products that won’t make your car feel like a moving billboard.

Wonderful teether, December 2, 2011

The Sofie giraffe teether is a favorite teether of my first child and has quickly become a favorite gift to give new parents.

Pros:
Lightweight
Natural Rubber
Plesant soft smell
Easy to clean by regular hand washing
Cute
Young babies are attracted to the spots and high contrast of the design (helps my kids find it and become interested in it at a yonger age)
Soft and gentle teether

Cons:
Once the child tries it for teething, the child generally won’t want to use any other teether
Squeek sounds a lot like a dog toy
